Description: The Royal Feast is a food assistance program designed to provide nourishment and community to families in need. Inspired by the grand feasts of Camelot, this program goes beyond just serving meals; it creates a sense of unity and celebration within the Kingdom Manors community. Through regular food drives, community banquets, and meal assistance, The Royal Feast ensures that every family in the realm has access to the sustenance they need while fostering connections between neighbors.

Services:

  • The Kingdom’s Bounty (Food Distribution): Weekly food drives to provide fresh produce, canned goods, and pantry staples to low-income families.

  • The Royal Feast Table (Community Banquets): Monthly community feasts where all residents are invited to share a royal-themed meal together, complete with long banquet tables, a communal atmosphere, and entertainment for the entire family. Can be done at local food kitchens.

  • The Castle’s Pantry (Emergency Meal Kits): Provision of emergency meal kits containing essential food items for families experiencing crisis situations, ensuring that no one goes hungry in their time of need.

  • The King's Garden (Community Garden Project): A community-led garden where residents can grow their own fresh produce and share the bounty with others, creating a sustainable food source while fostering teamwork and responsibility. Can obtain Costco's growing unit. 

Community Engagement:

  • The Knight’s Pantry Brigade: Volunteers from the community—dubbed “The Knight’s Pantry Brigade”—come together to organize food drives, pack emergency meal kits, and serve meals at the monthly Royal Feast Table events. Local businesses and farmers also contribute to the effort by donating food and supplies.

  • Feast of Champions: A yearly celebration that honors the volunteers, sponsors, and community members who help make The Royal Feast a success. The Feast of Champions is a special banquet event where standout volunteers are recognized for their service and dedication to feeding the kingdom. Can be done over zoom, we get a national discount code through either a food delivery or national brand.

By hosting regular community meals, this program creates a warm and welcoming environment where individuals and families can share in the joy of a meal together.

This will not only provide additional fresh produce for the program but also teach residents valuable skills in sustainability, gardening, and nutrition.   • Feasts Across the Realm: As the Kingdom Manors community grows, The Royal Feast will expand to host feasts in multiple locations, creating an interconnected web of support throughout the region. The program aims to reach neighboring communities, making a larger impact on food insecurity.

  • Scholarship for Culinary Arts: The Royal Feast will offer scholarships for individuals who want to pursue a career in the culinary arts, providing them with opportunities to train in local kitchens, partner with renowned chefs, and serve their communities through their passion for cooking.

Event Features:

  • The Grand Banquet Hall: The monthly Royal Feast Table events will take place in a lavishly decorated banquet hall (or outdoor space), where long tables are filled with food, flowers, and ornate place settings, giving residents a sense of royalty while dining together.

  • The Royal Chef’s Showcase: At each feast, a local chef or aspiring culinary artist will be invited to showcase their skills by preparing a signature dish for the community, turning each meal into an exciting culinary experience.

  • The Scroll of Gratitude: A display where the names of volunteers, sponsors, and donors are written, showing the community’s appreciation for their contributions. This scroll is prominently featured at each event to highlight the collaborative spirit that makes The Royal Feast possible.
